Since the launch of SUREVUE® in 1991, VISTAKON®, Division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc., has introduced several advancements in spherical contact lens technology. In light of the superior performance of our more recent products and in order to help you maximize the inventory efficiency of your practice, we are announcing the discontinuation of SUREVUE® Brand Contact Lenses.
After December 31st, 2004, VISTAKON® will no longer supply SUREVUE®.

Our most recent product innovation is ACUVUE® ADVANCE® with HYDRACLEAR®, which provides exceptional vision, handling and end-of-day comfort. In fact, we are so certain your SUREVUE® patients will love ACUVUE ADVANCE® with HYDRACLEAR®, we guarantee it! If, for any reason, your patients are not 100% satisfied with ACUVUE ADVANCE® Brand Contact Lenses, they can return them within 90 days and get their money back. Furthermore, as your patients transition to the ACUVUE® -branded line of contact lenses, they can take advantage of our $30 rebate when they get an eye exam and purchase a year’s supply of any ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses. The $30 rebate is not currently offered to SUREVUE® patients. Ask us about the details or visit www.ACUVUE.com for more information on both of these offers.

Attached to this notification is a Doctor-to-Patient letter that may be helpful in communicating the SUREVUE® discontinuation to your patients. Please feel free to make copies of and distribute this letter to any of your SUREVUE® patients.
