COURT DENIES CIBA VISION MOTION TO HALT LAUNCH OF ACUVUE®
OASYS™ BRAND CONTACT LENSES with HYDRACLEAR® PLUS
JACKSONVILLE, Fla (August 18, 2005) – A United States district court in Jacksonville today denied a motion by Ciba Vision for a temporary restraining order to halt the launch of ACUVUE® OASYS™ Brand Contact Lenses. New ACUVUE® OASYS™ with HYDRACLEAR® PLUS will be
available in the offices of Eye Care Professionals throughout the United States beginning next week.
