VISTAKON Introduces New ACUVUE® Contact Lens

VISTAKON, a division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, announced the introduction of its new ACUVUE ® OASYS™ Brand Contact Lenses with
HYDRACLEAR™ PLUS. According to Vistakon, the daily wear contact lenses are designed for use in challenging environments that may create a dry and tired feeling in patients’ eyes. The lenses are formulated from a new silicone hydrogel material senofilcon A, which, according to VISTAKON, results in a lens that is 50% smoother than currently available silicone hydrogel lenses. The product also features a new formulation of the company’s HYDRACLEAR™ technology, an internal wetting agent designed to enhance moisture retention, and blocks greater than 96% of UVA and 100% of UVB radiation.
